Our school nurse covers various functions such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assistance in the event of any emergency or incident that may arise during school hours<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monitoring and follow-up of students with chronic diseases in collaboration with families and the health team.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proactive work to promote health and the acquisition of healthy habits through health education programs.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Documents:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.highlandsbarcelona.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Autorizacio%CC%81n-Medicamentos.pdf\"><b>Authorization to administer medications during school hours.<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.highlandsbarcelona.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Ficha_de_Salud_2023-2024.pdf\"><b>Health Record.<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.highlandsbarcelona.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/8-Protocolos-alergias.pdf\"><b>Documentation of allergies and chronic diseases.<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you need to bring any medication to school, parents must complete the Medication Administration Authorization form and attach a copy of the prescription to give to the nurse. The medication must be in its box.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the case of students with pathologies that require some type of medical intervention: allergies, convulsions, intolerances, etc., it is necessary to present the signed medical report, which must prescribe the treatment to be followed.
