International environment

House System

Throughout the year, House Days and friendly competitions give pupils the chance to earn points for their House, build camaraderie and take pride in belonging. This long-standing British tradition strengthens community spirit and helps pupils form lasting bonds across the different stages of the school.

Public Speech Programme

From the age of three, our pupils begin to develop essential communication and leadership skills through our Show and Tell and Public Speech Programme, as well as drama and debating. These activities build confidence, voice projection, non-verbal communication and persuasive speaking. Through drama and performance, pupils refine their spoken and physical expression. They not only write and perform their own plays, but also enjoy professional theatre productions brought into the school, which foster creativity, collaboration and stage presence from an early age.

International cultural events

We celebrate global traditions such as Thanksgiving, St Patrick’s Day, Book Week, Jeans for Genes, Science Day and International Day, bringing English-speaking culture into our classrooms.

Volunteering, community service and leadership

We encourage leadership through service, with missions, charity events and volunteering programmes that nurture empathy and initiative. Pupils are invited to take part in meaningful charitable initiatives throughout the year. From donation drives to awareness campaigns, these activities build empathy, social responsibility and a spirit of service, helping pupils grow into compassionate, active citizens.

Language learning

The programme supports early language development through strong phonemic awareness in a stimulating environment. English immersion begins at 50% at age 1, rises to 100% at age 2 and continues at 60% between the ages of 3 and 5. The Cambridge curriculum continues in Primary, with 60% of subjects taught in English and assessed through Progression Tests and Checkpoints. Early literacy is developed through Word Study and speaking skills through Public Speech. In Secondary, 60% of teaching remains in English, preparing pupils for IGCSEs and qualifications such as Cambridge English (C1 and C2) and the French DELF (B2).

With high levels of English immersion and a solid academic grounding, our pupils are well prepared for university in Spain and abroad.
