Academic excellence

Experiential and interdisciplinary learning: active methodologies

At our school in Barcelona, we develop intelligent, experiential learning in our students, adapted to the real world, promoting autonomy, responsibility and inclusion, through:

  • The development of interdisciplinary projects
  • Problem-based learning (PBL)
  • Cooperative work

Study techniques

We provide students with the resources they need to study effectively. To do this, they work from 1st ESO on:

  • Planning and organizing the study.
  • Concentration and the elements that promote it.
  • Understanding the content to be studied.
  • The tools or techniques used to process or fix learning.

Scientific and mathematical learning

Scientific and mathematical competences are an important part of our curriculum, which is why we encourage the development of curiosity to discover, learn and understand through projects, laboratory experiences, participation in science fairs and external competitions.

Art, culture and music

We include cultural and artistic content through interdisciplinary projects that allow students to express themselves and enhance their creativity.

We want people who will influence our society and culture, people with leadership skills. For this reason, it is essential to seek out our history, culture and tradition. In order to understand the future, we need to know who we are.

During this stage, students take cultural trips to different European cities.

Public Speaking and Debate

Debate and public speaking build our students’ confidence, critical thinking and leadership skills, giving them a solid foundation to defend their ideas and beliefs with clarity.

Our students perfect their public speaking skills in English (primarily), Spanish and Catalan, participating in prestigious national and international competitions such as Lego League, Writing Contest and the UPC Engineering Competition.

Accompanied Students

Career guidance

We help awaken our students’ vocation through a program that invites them to become aware of their own gifts, the opportunities and needs of their environment, and we give them the tools to be able to plan their future.

From the beginning of the Secondary Stage, we offer students subjects that allow them to learn about the different academic disciplines to continue, in 3rd year of ESO, with a more specific program to search for the personal development preferences of each student.

Sports program

Through physical activity and competitions, our students develop essential virtues such as teamwork and perseverance. We offer programs that facilitate specialization in sports and participation in public and private competitions.

Thanks to our extensive facilities, the school offers the following sports disciplines within its curriculum:

  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Paddle
  • Table tennis
  • Badminton
  • Parcour
  • Bike rides
  • Running
  • Baseball

Digital students

We train students so that they know how to use digital technology

We are a benchmark school and therefore we incorporate technology into the academic training of students, in a gradual, progressive and adapted way, because we understand that it provides necessary nuances in their intellectual relationship with the world and because it contributes to our students thinking critically and creatively, communicating fluently and expressively, facing life with maturity and participating responsibly in society.

Committed students

Formative discipline

Through formative discipline, our educators work so that children discover the values that originate the rules on a daily basis, so that they act out of self-conviction and not because of the mere imposition of a regulation. In this way, students come to understand the meaning and importance of respecting and complying with the rules for building good school coexistence.
