Nursing

We have a nursing department. Our school nurse covers various functions such as:

• Assistance in the event of any emergency or incident that may arise during school hours
• Monitoring and follow-up of students with chronic diseases in collaboration with families and the health team.
• Proactive work to promote health and the acquisition of healthy habits through health education programs.

Documents:

• Authorization to administer medications during school hours.
• Health Record.
• Documentation of allergies and chronic diseases.

If you need to bring any medication to school, parents must complete the Medication Administration Authorization form and attach a copy of the prescription to give to the nurse. The medication must be in its box.

In the case of students with pathologies that require some type of medical intervention: allergies, convulsions, intolerances, etc., it is necessary to present the signed medical report, which must prescribe the treatment to be followed. Likewise, they must bring their medication and the nurse will keep it to administer it to them if necessary.
