Dining room

Our school has its own kitchen and dining room, managed together with Hostess responding to different demands, such as a greater presence of high organoleptic and nutritional quality products in the school menu.

The menus are designed by specialized dieticians and nutritionists and reviewed by our school nurse, creating different derivations according to the different ages and needs of our students.

Hostesa guarantees a diversity in the consumption of local vegetable products, fresh and seasonal products and a balanced Mediterranean diet with the following characteristics and services worth highlighting:

  1. Local fruit and vegetables are served, as well as all high-quality products.
  2. The menu plan takes into account the recommendations of official school nutrition guidelines.
  3. Different varied and balanced menus are prepared for the different stages (Infant, Primary and Secondary and Baccalaureate). It also offers menus adapted to special needs (intolerances, food allergies, etc.).
  4. For the little ones, a menu free of fried foods is offered throughout the Infant stage.
  5. Sugary foods have been eliminated and ultra-processed foods have been removed from snacks since they are based on fresh fruits, whole grains, oats and/or sugar-free dairy products.
  6. Whole grain and organic products are used.
  7. Menus are offered with more vegetable protein and less of animal origin.

Summer Activities

HIGHLANDS BARCELONA SUMMER SCHOOL
Dates: From June 25 to July 24 (last week of July depending on demand).
Objective: To spend the vacation time in a healthy, fun, educational, and formative way.
We offer two types of Summer School:
Summer Activities
  • Infants Summer School: Ages 1-5
  • Sports Summer School: Ages 6-13

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM

IMPORTANT: Group placement will be based on the 2025-2026 school year.

  • First two-day week: June 25-26 – €90
Single Weeks:
  • Price per single week: €225
  • Price for two weeks: €445
  • Price for three weeks: €670
  • Price for four weeks: €830

  • 10% discount for students enrolled for 3 weeks or more.
Early Drop-off Service:
  • From 8:00 to 9:00 AM: €30 per week.

Important Information:
  • Payment must be made in advance following the instructions in the pop-up when registering.
  • All services offered are subject to the number of enrolled students. Highlands Barcelona reserves the right to cancel activities with prior notice to families.

Transport - Route

We offer a school route service from different points with responsible monitors who accompany the children at all times to ensure their safety. Possibility of a full or half route (mornings or afternoons).

The stops and times are as follows:

Cost:

  • Full route: 188€ per child (monthly)
  • Half Route: 136€ per child (monthly)

The cost for an occasional journey will be €10/day, regardless of whether it is a full or half route.

Minimum Uniforms is the official uniform supplier for Highlands School Barcelona. All the items in the school uniform at Highlands School Barcelona have been manufactured in Spain. They have been made in workshops specially selected for each type of product, under exhaustive quality control These uniforms can be purchased at:

In the shop located at C/ Duquesa de Orleans 60, in Sarrià. It is a 10-minute drive from the school. Open from 8:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. (we do not close at midday).

  • Babi model 2 years.
  • Polo/Body short sleeve (summer) or long sleeve (winter) model of the school.
  • Sports sweatshirt and winter pants (two years) and shorts (summer) model of the school.
  • Navy blue coat.
Early childhood education (bees, giraffes and beavers)
  • Green checkered Babi.
  • Short sleeve polo shirt (summer) or long sleeve (winter) school model.
  • Navy blue V-neck sweater with the school’s coat of arms.
  • Checkered shorts or checkered skirt with suspenders, school model.
  • Navy blue or black school shoes (without laces) and navy blue socks or leotard (girls).
  • Psychomotricity: sports polo shirt with shield, shorts (summer) and long pants (winter) and school model sports sweatshirt, white sneakers (without laces) and white socks.
Primary and Secondary Education
  • School model white polo shirt.
  • School model plaid skirt (with suspenders from 1st to 3rd grade or up to size 8).
  • Navy blue V-neck sweater with the school’s coat of arms.
  • Girl’s blazer with the school’s coat of arms.
  • Navy blue or black school shoes (without laces) and navy blue socks and tights with winter uniform.
  • Physical education: sports polo shirt with shield, shorts or long pants and sweatshirt model of the school, white sneakers and white socks.
  • Navy blue coat without letters or badges, preferably school model fleece lining.
  • Navy blue accessories and complements.
Edu. Primary and Secondary Education (ESO and Bachillerato)
  • Short sleeve polo shirt (summer) and shirt with shield (winter) school model.
  • Grey shorts (primary school) and grey pants (secondary school).

Extracurricular activities

“Extracurricular activities are those aimed at promoting the openness of the school to its surroundings and ensuring the comprehensive education of students. They are carried out outside of school hours, are voluntary for students and seek the active involvement of the entire educational community.”

The range of extracurricular activities is aimed at stimulating students’ artistic abilities, motor coordination, intellectual capacity and comprehensive development as a person.

Sports activities

Paddle tennis tournaments

Highlands School Barcelonahas been organizing paddle tennis tournaments for families and students of the school since 2012. These tournaments have the objective of involving families in school life, promoting family life at school, one of our fundamental points; and values through sport such as respect, teamwork, perseverance, effort…

To date we have held five tournaments and participation is increasing. In addition, during the day there are also various activities organised for the little ones, games, a barbecue and a raffle. Everything is designed to make the most of a family and sporting day.

We hope that the next tournaments will be as successful as all the previous ones!

Skiing

Highlands School Barcelona organizes several snow trips during the school year: one with the school’s students and another with the school’s families, so that they too can experience the Highlands spirit.

  • School skiing:

To encourage camaraderie and unity within the group, Highlands School Barcelona also organises school skiing trips, where students enjoy a weekend in the snow. During these days, our students have daily skiing lessons for beginners, intermediate level and advanced level students. In the afternoon, different recreational activities are prepared for them in order to encourage teamwork and a good atmosphere. With this, we encourage the competitive spirit, daily improvement and sport, which is very important in our school, to grow.

RC Camps

Through the Regnum Christi camps, we offer a complete range of summer activities for boys and girls of all ages where they will learn, have fun, and grow in a Catholic, safe, and friendly environment.

At CampamentosRC, your children will:

  • Discover new skills and talents.
  • Strengthen their faith and values.
  • Make new friends and have unforgettable experiences enjoying outdoor activities and team games.
  • Receive guidance from qualified monitors and trained instructors who care for and look after each one.
